Jazz can be termed as a style of music, completely influenced by the American culture and differentiated by flexible rhythmic pace, as a base accompanied with extemporization of solo, ensemble on chord patterns and base tunes. It is a musical form where often extemporization can be seen, invented by African Americans and is influenced not only by European harmonic structure but also by African rhythms. So it is music developed especially from ragtime and blues and characterized by propulsive syncopated rhythms, polyphonies ensemble playing varying degrees of improvisation, and often deliberate distortions of pitch and timbre. The history of Jazz shows that it was started in 1900s in New Orleans by the African American community. They used the African influenced music used and combined it with the European music tradition and the consequence was Jazz. Many maturations and major changes have taken place not only in America but throughout world during this period. These emotions were furnished into beats, sound and lyrics. Over the time the distinctive way of showing these emotions has metamorphose into a basic musical guideline. A practice on how to habituate time, manners, and a classifiable style which was previously illuminated as a music genre known as Jazz.
